  • Which accessories can Essential Turbines service?

Fuel controls (excluding HMUs), governors, selected fuel pumps, and all fuel nozzles for M250 and RR300.

  • How long does accessory maintenance take?

  • Do I need to be an Essential Turbines engine customer to use Malta?

No. Essential Turbines Malta supports both full engine programs and standalone accessory customers.

  • How fast can I get a rental or exchange part?

Most rentals and exchanges ship within 1–3 days. If you give us 4–6 weeks of lead time, we can align a module specifically to your schedule.

  • Do rental and exchange units include warranty coverage?

Yes—all units carry Essential Turbines’ standard 12-month / 500-hour warranty coverage.

  • Can Essential Turbines ship to my location?

Reach our support team directly: Mathieu Tremblay, Val Medved, Mike Mones

  • Can Essential Turbines test my engine as a standalone service?

Yes. Essential Turbines offers standalone test cell services for M250 and RR300 engines and modules, including full reporting and certification.

  • What does a typical test cell process involve?

Each test run validates horsepower, fuel flow, and vibration metrics under OEM parameters. Engines are tested at multiple power settings to confirm reliability and performance consistency.

  • What is the turnaround for standalone testing?

Typically 6–8 weeks, depending on engine type and workload.

  • Do you have parts readily available?

Yes—with proper maintenance forecasting, Essential Turbines maintains a stocked inventory and exchange pool to ensure critical parts are available when needed.

  • Can I exchange an engine or module instead of waiting for a full overhaul?

Yes. Our exchange program allows you to trade in a core for an overhauled unit, significantly reducing downtime.

  • If I provide my maintenance forecast, can you be ready?

Absolutely. With advance scheduling, we can pre-order parts and align shop time to your planned maintenance window.

  • What is the typical turnaround time?

Turnaround averages 10–12 weeks depending on season and workload. During lighter summer periods, lead time may shorten to 8-10 weeks.

  • How much does an overhaul cost?

Pricing varies by module (compressor, turbine, gearbox) and configuration. Essential Turbines provides a custom detailed estimate before work begins.

  • Are you the lowest-cost option?

No—and we don’t aim to be. Essential Turbines positions itself as a premium M250 provider, delivering proven power and reliability that minimize total cost of ownership.

  • Which aircraft do you support?

    Bell 407, Bell 206L/206B, Airbus/MBB-105, Airbus AS355F/RR C20F/R, Agusta/Leonardo A109, MD500/MD369, SIAI Marchetti SF-260, Grob TP-120, and Britten-Norman BN-2T Turbine Islander.

  • What’s the typical overhaul turnaround time?

Turnaround is typically 60–90 days, depending on workload, findings, and customer approval time.

  • Do you offer module-only repair for the RR300?

No. RR300 module separation requires a Robinson-approved center. Essential Turbines receives full engines for major work.

  • Do you see performance gains like the M250?

It is too early to publish horsepower data for RR300 builds. Essential Turbines will share validated results as the program matures.

  • Do operators search by engine model or aircraft?

Both. Essential Turbines supports searches for RR300, R66 engine support, R66 MRO, and RR300 overhaul.

  • Can you support fleet-wide training operators?

Yes—many R66 fleets are concentrated in flight schools, and Essential Turbines can support multi-aircraft programs.

  • Can Essential Turbines support operators outside North America?

Absolutely. Essential Turbines’ global network enables RR300 support in South America, Australia, NATO regions, and beyond.
